UNDERSTANDING GOD’S PURPOSE FOR YOUR ADVANCEMENT

Mat 11:12  From the time of John the Baptizer until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful people have been seizing it.

You have a covenant of advancement with God; it’s the desire of Heaven to promote the redeemed. God, as we know is not a taskmaster; He doesn’t use people to dump them. That is why, the more you yield to God and His purpose, the better your life becomes.

God’s kingdom is a kingdom in motion, and He advances this kingdom by setting His people in motion. The Bible called believers, the body of Christ (1Cor 12:27) and since a healthy body is the product of healthy and functioning body parts; God places a huge responsibility on Himself for the advancement of every member.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit… Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. (John 15:2)

It is very important that we understand God’s purpose for advancement, when the purpose of a thing is not known; the abuse is not only inevitable, even the quest for its use is defeated. God advances His kingdom by advancing us. The very reason for God’s interest in our progress if for the sake of His kingdom. If you fail to understand God’s reason for your advancement, you will result to thinking that moving forward in life is optional. (Rom 14:12  So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.).

To remain a believer, moving forward is not optional but compulsory (So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Rev 3:16). No man can hold God to ransom by refusing to advance. That is why, the bible refers to those who advance with the Kingdom as forceful people.

From the time of John the Baptizer until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful people have been seizing it. Mat 11:12

God advances His children for the purpose of His covenant. But you shall remember Jehovah your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, so that He may confirm His COVENANT which He has sworn to your fathers, as it is today. (Deu 8:18). God has no interest in you being stagnated; He wants you to always be in motion. I believe that God will be under obligation to release wealth to anyone who is operating with the relevant forces that promotes the advancement of His kingdom. What did He say in Matt 6:33 … But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. But there are also many, who wants divine promotion without commitment to kingdom advancement.

God, for once does not tolerate stagnation; He told Moses in Deu 1:6  Jehovah our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying, You have had enough of dwelling in this mountain. Also in Heb 5:12 He said “For indeed because of the TIME, you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again what are the first principles of the oracles of God. And you have become in need of milk, and not of solid food”. Therefore God will never expect any believer to remain on a spot.

The Bible says, there is time for everything in life…thus, every advancement is for a purpose, there is a time to seek for prayer and there is a time to intercede for others, There is time to seek financial help and there is time to become a financial helper. Life is in phases and God expects us to change from one phase to a higher one. God is interested in your advancement because a stationary vehicle cannot be steered. And Jehovah said to Moses, Why do you cry to Me? Speak to the sons of Israel, that they go forward Exo 14:15. Those who are not ready to move cannot partake of this kingdom.  And Jesus said to him, No one, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God (Luk 9:62). Therefore you must pay every prize there is to keep advancing. 1Cor 9:21-29
